Jingletown Jazz Room founders Steve Lopez and Morgan Cox dreamed of opening a brewery (don’t we all?!) while working at E.J. Phair Brewing Company and weekend home brewing on Hammer Island. Their dream was realized in 2008 with the launch of Ale Industries in Concord, California. They soon outgrew the original space, and in 2014 relocated to the old Norten Bucket Factory in the Jingletown District of Fruitvale, Oakland – a most welcome addition to the East Bay beer scene! The roughly 6,000 square foot brewing facility has plenty of room for barrel aging their highly prized sour beers. Stop in for $8 growler Monday’s if you know what’s good for you!
