We at bestbreweries love a good ‘ol #beerstory when we hear ’em, and here’s one for the #beerhistory books: way back in 1988, shortly after moving to Utah from Milwaukee, Greg Schiff opened Wasatch Brewery (the first brewpub in the state in 20 years) in downtown Park City. But he had to get the Utah legislature to make brewpubs legal first – sounds a little like Buffalo Bills Brewery in Hayward, California back in the day! Schiff is a true beer pioneer, and his Wasatch Brewery still brews some of the best craft beer in Utah at the top of historic Main Street in this beautiful snow white mountain ski town. We truly love it here! Try the Polygamy Porter (nitro) and Pumpkin Ale, and don’t forget a few roadies for the chairlift at Park City Mountain Resort!
