Wild River Brewing & Pizza Co. Cave Junction

Wild River Brewing & Pizza Co. was launched as Steelhead Brewery in 1990 by Jerry and Bertha Miller – you gotta love a good ‘ol family brewing team! Today they run five locations, have dropped the Steelhead name and happen to make a wicked awesome taco pizza! Perfect pitstop on any beer quest.

Rogue Ales & Spirits Portland

Rogue Ales & Spirits was founded in Ashland, California in 1988 by Nike alumni Bob Woodell, Rob Strasser and Jack Joyce with a mission “to brew the finest varietal ales & spirits in the world!” Mission accomplished! Rogue Ales holds a special place in our hearts, embodying all we love in a brewery – farm to bottle freshness, community beer and a revolutionary spirit.

Rogue has come a long way since their original Ashland location…all the way to Portland, Oregon’s Pearl District! Today’s beer flight at the brewpub¬†= Issaquah White Frog Ale (Witbier), Double Chocolate Stout, Wasted Sea Star Purple Ale (brewed with purple corn nectar!) and Morimoto Soba (Buckwheat) Ale! Cheers!

Maine Beer Company

Maine Beer Company was founded by brothers David and Daniel Kleban, a financial advisor and lawyer by trade, respectively, on the outskirts of New England’s Freeport, Maine. While fairly new to the craft beer scene, the Kleban’s pack an inordinate punch relative to their small batch production due to legendarily hoppy ales such as Lunch (IPA), Dinner (Double IPA), Peeper (Pale Ale) and Zoe (Amber Ale). They have been compared to Russian River Brewing and The Alchemist due to their laser like focus on quality, community and sustainability (as evidenced by their motto: “Do What’s Right”). If you come across their beers, which can be a challenge due to limited distribution, drink them – you will not be sorry! Or just make the trip to Freeport…Maine Beer Company is worth it, especially when combined with a visit to L.L. Bean!
